The partners/owners are Norman McBriar and Mark McBriar.

There is no business or material financial interest in a price comparison website.

There has been no material charitable donations to a third party.

There has been no charitable contribution or payment of gratuity to a third party.

There has been no material form of payment to a third party that does not relate to a cost incurred or a service provided by the third party on behalf of or to Norman McBriar & Son Funeral Directors.

Terms of Business

For any services of Norman McBriar & Son Funeral Directors arranged in a client’s home, a 14-day cooling off period is allowed in compliance with the Customer Contracts Regulation 2013. If the client wishes to commence within the 14 days, a waiver must be signed.

An invoice will be issued 10 days after the date of the funeral and payment is due within 28 days of the date of the invoice.

Your invoice will show a settlement discount that will apply if the balance is paid in full within 28 days of the date of the invoice.

We accept payment by Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer and Debit Card.

Please let us know if a solicitor is administering the estate, life insurance will be used to pay the balance or if an application is to be made to the social fund for assistance.

If Payment of the final invoice is an issue, please speak to us about making an arrangement to pay. If the invoice is not paid or arrangement in place by the due date (being 28 days from the date of invoice) we reserve the right to engage a third party company to collect the balance on our behalf who may also add fees, charges and interest.
