Professional Charges
Our professional charges include 24 hour personal attention to the services required of the funeral director and staff. Guidance and assistance with the funeral arrangements, completion of all the necessary paperwork, forms and registration of the death. The collection, care and preparation of the deceased. Use of the hearse, if required, on the day of the funeral. An oak veneer coffin from our range is included. Fair proportion of the cost is associated with insurance, heat, light, vehicles, premises and the provision of staff 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Embalming
Embalming is a technique used for three reasons – Presentation: embalming helps restore the appearance of the skin therefore your loved one will appear more restful; Protection: embalming cleanses the body and; Preservation: embalming slows down the effects of natural deterioration of your loved one from the time they come into our care until the time of committal.
Embalming is not legally required, but if the deceased is to be viewed or taken home it is strongly recommended.
Limousines
Limousine on the day of the funeral from the resting place to the funeral service and committal. £160
Notices placed online or in paper
Notices can range from £12 (Funeral Times) to £500+ depending on the number of lines, the paper and the number of days it would appear. £variable
Flowers
Flowers can be arranged to suit your choice of style, colour and flowers. From £40
Full size double ended family coffin spray (may vary depending on flowers). £240.00
Service Sheets
Printed order of service sheets or Mass Booklets – per 100. £50
Death Certificates
We will complete paperwork, liaise with registration staff and purchase certificates on your behalf. £8 each
Organist
An organist can be arranged for the service in a place of worship or funeral home. £50 – £80
